Salary: £10.90 per hour

We are looking for people who can be fun and energetic but also able to be calm and predictable in their approach. You will need to be creative and adaptable to changing needs and have a ‘Can-do’ attitude.

The role will include working in a small team to support three women who have autism, learning disabilities and specific health needs with all aspects of daily living in their own home.  They each have unique interests, likes and dislikes. Your role is to provide person-centred support to enhance quality of life. Day to day, you will use active support to encourage completion of everyday chores, going to activities, meeting friends and family, visiting health professionals, assisting with personal care and being a friendly ear for a chat.  They each love to go on holidays and day trips, discos and social groups. You will provide support to learn new skills, develop use of communication aids and achieve long term goals.

We would like to get to know our future employees and for you to get to know us before committing to a permanent role. You will have the opportunity to meet potential future colleagues that, if successful, you will attend induction training together. We will guide you through several work-based activities to enable you to get a full understanding of what the Support worker role entails. Therefore, following selection all candidates will be invited to attend an Assessment Day. Our Assessment Day will take place in Ewloe from 09:15-12:30

Starting at 09:15

Finishing at 12:30

Successful candidates will be invited to join our induction cohort commencing on:

Monday 6th November 2023 at Unit 4, Evolution House, Lakeside Business Village, St David’s Business Park, Ewloe, subject to satisfactory references and Right to Work checks.
