Operations Manager – Learning Disabilities Role

Hours: 37.5 per week

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary: £40,000 per year

The Opportunity

This an exciting opportunity for an outstanding Operations Manager to join Castell Ventures, a care and support provider based in Ewloe, Flintshire. You will be an important part of a busy and fun team of people that strive to make a difference to the people we support.

Castell is an innovative and diverse domiciliary care/support provider based across North Wales, and Ceredigion providing care and support service to people over 16 years and adults who have learning disabilities, Autism and complex behavioural needs. As such you will need to be creative, knowledgeable and understanding while providing strong leadership to the teams.

Your role will be wide and varied providing you with the opportunity to make a difference to the people we support daily. As Operations Manager reporting to our Head of Operations, you will provide leadership in our learning disability services while also being a point of care knowledge and expertise for the company.

Travel throughout Wales is required, and use of your own vehicle is essential.

About you

You will be self-motivated, calm, energetic, fun and have a strong character; being able to coach, mentor, be supportive and give clear direction. You will have an excellent knowledge of RISCA, CIW, PBS and how to provide person centred services with an understanding that there are some things that can’t wait until tomorrow.

You will be creative, offering ideas to make things better and you will be an excellent communicator with good written skills. Your industry knowledge will be second to none and you will have excellent ICT skills, particularly in using Microsoft Office, Web applications and SharePoint.
